1. ceramic (sintered stone)
The ceramic is made of natural minerals such as quartz, and then pressed by a 15000 ton press under high pressure, combined with ink-jet technology to produce different texture effects, and then fired at 1200 ° high temperature.

The process of ceramic mainly includes the following:
01.Soft surface: the brightness is between matt and bright, the handle is delicate and smooth, after polishing, there are fine pores.The disadvantage is that the stain resistance is average
02.Bright surface (glazed surface): the touch surface is smooth, without astringency and graininess.The disadvantage is that it is easy to produce scratches.
03.Matte surface: the friction force is greater than that of bright surface, the scratch resistance is better, and the cleaning is more convenient. The disadvantage is that there will be a sense of roughness and graininess.

Advantages of ceramic:
01. It has wear-resistant surface. The Mohs hardness of the ceramic can be as high as Grade 8, so the abrasion resistance of the ceramic is super high, and it can be kept undamaged no matter by cutting or scraping.
02. It has natural antibacterial properties. The water absorption rate of the ceramic is lower than 0.05%, and the water is difficult to penetrate, so it reduces the possibility of harboring dirt and incrustation, at the same time, it avoids the breeding of bacteria, and it is easy to clean.

Disadvantages of ceramic:
01. High production process
The requirements for each link of ceramic processing are relatively high.
02. High damage rate during transportation
The ceramic is relatively thin, so it is very likely to be damaged if it can´t be protected during transportation.
03. High price and cost
During the processing of ceramic, the process requirements will be higher, which will increase its cost, so its price will be higher relatively.

2. MDF+melamine surface
Melamine board is made by soaking paper with different colors or textures in melamine resin adhesive, drying it to a certain extent, laying it on the surface of MDF, and hot pressing.

Advantages of melamine board:
1. It has good wear resistance and dirt resistance, and can resist the corrosion of general acid, alkali, grease and alcohol.
2. Various patterns can be imitated with bright color, luster and strong aesthetics.
3. The surface is flat, hard, not easy to deform, and easy to maintain and clean.

Disadvantages of melamine board:
Glue will be used in the production of such plates, which will threaten human health if the quality is too poor, so the requirements for production standards are high.
